POSITION SUMMARY

This job exists to support all the sales functions for the largest global accounts in the organization supporting the sales of Vertiv products & services. Primary quota responsibility in the range of $75-$100M annually. There is a very high expectation for maintaining existing sales plus growth in these global accounts through new sales and increasing levels of service as applicable. The position will interact with all levels of management, so excellent communications skills with the ability to influence and lead decision-makers and team leaders is required. This position will be based in the U.S., preferably in the Northwest, supporting Microsoft and other GSA accounts as requested globally. Supporting the specialized requirements for GEIST RPDU offerings, as well as related Vertiv products & services. Extensive domestic and possible international travel will be required as needed. The sales role is critical in supporting the ongoing business, and growth through new business development activities in other related areas. Teamwork with global divisions of Vertiv is of paramount importance as is the ability to work well with respected C-Level managers for each client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, making sales calls to promote Vertiv's capabilities and develop long-term relationships to maintain current and foster future business.
  • Cross functional interaction, coordination and management of supply chain, engineering, program management and all other entities as required to interact with Vertiv.
  • Coordination and management of sales forecasting requirements with Microsoft and their System Integrators.
  • Cross-functional management of Vertiv operational teams to ensure service execution and delivery according to the contract requirements and customer expectations.
  • Administrative management that includes data entry when necessarily to ensure prompt and accurate order management, delivery, and reporting.
  • Additional responsibilities of this role include serving and an EDGE specialist for Vertiv as required across the Global Strategic Accounts (GSA).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Sales Leadership role working with high profile accounts.
  • BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar field is required.
  • Ability to close complex transactions through direct influence with multiple decision makers; or through providing guidance and oversight to team members to facilitate proper influence, whether it is of a business, technical, legal, or other nature.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter and follow projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work under different levels of pressure with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to work in a matrixed environment working with a team that has shared levels of accountability.
  • An effective motivator with an enthusiastic desire to succeed is required.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the State of Washington locality is between $170,830.00 to $227,700.00 per year. The sales role is a 60/40 split so in addition to salary is 40% Sales Incentive, SIP. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO (Flex Plan) holiday pay (9 days), and 401k. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process.
