Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven GSF Solutions Salesperson to lead the development and execution of our commercial strategy for the financing platform across the Americas. This role is pivotal in driving client engagement, deal origination, and relationship management while ensuring a seamless onboarding and due diligence process. He/she/they will play a critical role in delivering innovative financing solutions to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition and Management: Identify and target potential clients across various segments, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and hedge funds. Cultivate strong relationships to understand their financing and liquidity needs, leveraging deep knowledge of their business models and regulatory landscapes.
  • Transaction Origination and Execution: Lead the origination and execution of collateralized financing transactions involving diverse underlying assets (credit, fixed income, equity, funds) and structures (repos, total return swaps, pledged loans, notes, etc.). Ensure that solutions are tailored to meet client requirements for liquidity, leverage, market access, hedging, and balance sheet relief.
  • Product Marketing and Sales: Promote and market a comprehensive suite of securities financing solutions, including repos, TRS, securities lending, and derivatives. Effectively communicate the value proposition to clients and drive sales initiatives.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and training to coverage bankers and market sales teams on the financing product landscape and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Collaboration and Strategy Development: Work closely with coverage and client management teams to enhance client relationships and cross-sell Natixis' broader product offerings, aligning with the overarching Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) strategy.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the strategic direction and business development efforts of the financing pillar within global markets, focusing on growth and diversification.
  • Regional Coordination: Collaborate with regional teams (LATAM/Canada) to strengthen our market presence and expand our client base.
  • Commercial Controls Enhancement: Participate in improving the first line of defense (1LOD) model and reinforce commercial controls to ensure compliance and risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of the global markets financing landscape, including competitive and regulatory aspects.
  • A minimum of 15 years of sales experience in financial services, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and address client needs proactively.
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate-level degree is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications: SIE, Series 7, and 63.
  • Established network and references within the industry.

The salary range for this position will be between $250,000 - $350,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
