We are seeking a Global Service Desk Technician to support one of our customers critical missions. Role Summary This position shall provide Information Management (IM) support, on an enterprise-wide, web-based reporting system, and full life cycle management of information systems to include unclassified communications, data processing, and computer systems. What you will be doing
    Primarily provides first and second level support for the Global IT Infrastructure supporting 1500+ employees through the US and Sites abroad.
  • Provides support for handling more complex technical issues including monitoring and administering various components of the network as well as performing installations and cutovers of network components and coordinating requirements with users that can impact the user experience on the network.
  • Assists team members on projects requiring multiple inputs and/or manual labor.
  • Coordinates with vendors and schedules visits for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Performs routine office analysis functions in assigned areas.
  • Facilitates annual end of life cycle replacement procedures.
  • Assists in management of software licensing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. What we need from you Required
    • Active Government issued Secret level clearance (or higher) required.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience, of which at least 2 years must be specialized.
    • Must be a well-organized person, capable of handling a variety of issues and assignments.
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
    • Communicates effectively with client and colleagues in English, both orally and in writing.
    • Adaptable to rapidly changing technical environments.
    • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
    • Troubleshoots and provides technical support for hardware, software and network connectivity.
    • Knowledgeable or certified in automated help desk management systems.Preferred
      • Current certifications in Microsoft operating systems and MS Office products preferred.
      • Trained and/or certified in Microsoft Desktop Applications a plus (ie: MS Office 2013/2016).
