Our client is a family-owned electrical manufacturing company specializing in RF, microwave, and millimeter wave technology. The Global Supply Chain Director will be responsible for developing and executing a supply chain planning vision and strategy for the firm.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute demand forecasting strategies and processes to accurately predict product demand, optimize finished goods inventory levels, and minimize stock-outs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand planning, inventory control, and replenishment strategies.Utilize statistical methods, data visualization, and other advanced techniques to evaluate global supply chain performance and support decision making at strategic and tactical levels.Develop and maintain robust analytical models and tools to analyze global supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and business continuity measures to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations that support customer service level objectives.Establish key performance indicators and metrics to monitor supply chain performance.Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to management on key objectives, initiatives, supply chain metrics/KPIs, and other areas as required.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering required.10-15 years of experience in supply chain planning & analysis, forecasting, operations, and/or supply management.Experience managing a team required.Extensive knowledge of global supply chain management principles.Thorough understanding of financial drivers and their impact on the financial performance of supply chain operations.Familiarity with sales and operations planning processes and data requirements.Professional certification in supply chain required.Salary Range:
$180,000-$200,000
