Job Description:

TechConnect is seeking an innovative Supply Chain Leader to oversee global supply chain strategy and operations for an industry leading client based in Tulsa, OK. This is a critical position for our client and they need an individual that has a deep understanding in supply chain best practices, procurement and logistics. The SCL will be responsible for leading the companys supply chain and procurement teams to achieve KPIs related to supply availability, inventory targets, quality, safety, direct materials cost, supply timing, financial performance, employee experience and departmental expense. The successful candidate must have experience supporting multiple business units, driving results, and meeting company goals and objectives while building a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams responsible for translating corporate objectives into strategic sourcing and logistics plans for production targets and working in close collaboration with manufacturing, PBU leadership, product management and engineering.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals who analyze and understand supply markets in each major supply category, and develop and execute strategic sourcing strategy in each category.
  • Lead warehouse and shipping teams to manage inventory and ensure products are shipped on time.
  • Develop a procurement team that manages supplier relationships and ensures efficient and cost-effective material acquisitions.
  • Develop supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives and oversee execution through leadership team.
  • Develop logistics leaders to manage inventory and supply chain processes.
  • Develop leadership team to effectively manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and manage quality and materials cost.
  • Oversee the development of policies, procedures, and processes related to materials sourcing, production planning, purchasing, inventory management, storage, and distribution.
  • Oversee the development of supply chain optimization to meet inventory targets.
  • Oversee the planning and flow of materials through effective materials management processes.
  • Ensure the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed components meet production needs and customer expectations.
  • Ensure each manufacturing site has necessary inventory to support production processes and ensure efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented and evaluated.
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Set supply chain performance and quality standards.
  • Collaborate w/PBU leaders and the manufacturing leader to define and execute procurement priorities through seamless coordination and communication.
  • Collaborate w/PBU leadership on inventory budgets and is accountable for budget management.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing leader to optimize overall integrated supply chain for multiple plants and supplier plants.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks. Propose strategic sourcing opportunities to executive leadership team.
  • Work w/PBU leadership on cost and risk analysis for internal versus external sourcing strategies.
  • Stay current with technological advancements in supply chain management and empowers team to implement relevant technologies that improve efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Analyze supply chain and procurement data to identify trends, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, procurement, operations or similar industry experience.
  • 12+ years experience with a proven and successful track record in supply chain and/or procurement leadership role.
  • Highly Preferred Experience in HVAC and/or data center industry (commercial HVAC products/market knowledge and/or data center HVAC solutions/market knowledge.
  • Procurement, logistics and manufacturing knowledge/experience.
  • Self-driven leadership, team leadership and management, and executive relationship management.
  • Financial and strategic business acumen, accompanied with innovation and the ability to adjust as needed.
  • Ability to manage expectations, execute and sound decision making.
  • High moral character, positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Concise that strategic decisions have medium to long-term impact on operations.

Work Location/Travel

  • 100% onsite, no remote work (client facility located in Tulsa, OK).Extensive travel with overnight stays is expected for this position.
