The Staff Auditor will play a key role in conducting audits, fraud investigations, and special projects, while supporting process improvement initiatives across the organization.

Description

  • Conduct audits, applying accounting principles and audit standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Map detailed processes, analyze data, and draw concise conclusions using analytical skills.
  • Leverage various technology tools such as auditing query software, MS Access, and data visualization tools to enhance audit effectiveness.
  • Effectively communicate with teams across the organization to share insights and transfer subject matter knowledge.
  • Collaborate on departmental improvement projects to refine process management and controls.
  • Assist with evaluating audit findings, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to business processes and internal controls.
  • Support the team in engagement documentation, report writing, project setup, and periodic status reporting.
  • Contribute to various special projects as assigned by management.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Information Technology required.
  • 2-3 years of audit or relevant business experience.
  • Advanced credentials such as CPA, CIA, MBA, CISA, or CFE (completed or in progress) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with audit query tools or data analytics platforms (e.g., IDEA, AS400 Query, QlikView) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A desire for continued professional growth and development.
