Job Description:

Pacific International has been exclusively retained to support a global provider of cutting-edge product technology, multi-vendor software and service excellence for financial and retail customers in their search for a Global Vice President of Lean. This organization leverages cutting-edge technology to create personalized, secure consumer experiences that seamlessly bridge people and commerce. With a focus on connecting digital and physical channels, they ensure convenience, security, and efficiency for millions of customers every day.

The Global Vice President of Lean will lead the global Lean transformation, driving the optimization of business operating systems and processes through Hoshin Kanri. This role will be pivotal in fostering a culture that prioritizes breakthrough innovations and continuous improvements through Lean principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce and lead the annual Hoshin Kanri Process with the Executive Leadership Team to develop 2-3 years breakthrough objectives.
  • Develop the X-Matrix with annual breakthrough objectives, Improvement Priorities and TTIs.
  • Create meaningful Key Performance Indicators, ensure a structured & connected deployment and develop with functional leader L1 to L3 bowler.
  • Develop related Improvement Priority Action Plans across the Value Stream.
  • Plan and Execute the necessary Kaizens to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets
  • Establish Daily Management & Standard Work cross functional.
  • Reinforce the use of Structured Problem Solving to close gaps with speed and sustain improvements.
  • Communicate Lean philosophy & culture to the organization.
  • Develop and sustain Lean capabilities across our global teams.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years industry experience in a similar role
  • Bachelors Degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related field; masterĀ“s degree or MBP preferred.
  • Experienced leading cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to lead others in use of problem-solving methodologies.
  • Demonstrates success in process improvements for reduction of waste, reduction in cost and/or improvement in process control.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with various subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with strong interpersonal, influence and facilitation skills.
  • Requires high energy and a willingness to make process improvements based on data and investigations.
  • Able to travel approximately 50-75% of time.
