Position Overview
The Gluer Operator will be responsible for the set-up and operation of the folder-gluer machines while ensuring all cartons meet our customer quality standards.
Responsibilities• Set up of window/folder-gluer machines• Feeding machines• Troubleshooting and performing machine adjustments as needed• Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job• Meeting job estimates• Maintaining product conformance to specifications• Performing general maintenance• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications• Quality conscious individual• High attention to detail• Strong mechanical aptitude• Good troubleshooting skills• Ability to communicate and comprehend written and verbal instructions• Basic computer skills• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively• Willingness to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work• Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
