Description The GMP Laboratory Cleaning Associate is a key role responsible for supporting Curexa Pharmacy services through ensuring high quality standards are in place for the compounding of non-sterile pharmaceutical products meeting USP and USP standards.This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that all laboratory areas and associated equipment meet the highest quality standards. The candidate will be hands-on and actively involved in performing and coordinating GMP cleaning and sanitization of process areas in the laboratories as assigned relating to the compounding of bulk drug substance in a multi-product facility.This position will also collaborate cross-functionally with various departments within the organization and ensure effective communication and constructive working relationships with colleagues.Shall maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary working environment by complying with Curexa policies and procedures, SOPs, and to facilitate Curexa's growth and success of the pharmacy.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, AND TASKSCleaning of specified rooms and equipment in the labs using approved standard operating procedures (SOPs), cleaning solutions, and wearing appropriate PPE including respirator may be required.Performs other duties as assigned such as, trash removal, floor to ceiling cleaning, tidying up areas (5S), and potentially cleaning of small parts and equipment, performing real time documentation of cleaning in each area.• Documents work according to cGMP and cGDP.• Foster continuous improvement efforts and culture.• Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities.• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of all company information and ensure personnel discretion.• Adheres to established regulations and follows cGMP established by site Foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance.• Reports abnormalities and deviations in a timely and accurate manner.• Adheres to safety standards and identifies unsafe situations / habits and escalates appropriately.• Maintains production areas according to predefined standards.• Maintaining Cleanroom gowning inventory and supplies.REQUIREMENTS (GENERAL, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES)• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.• Exceptional Time Management and Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.• Integrity and ability to work in a team environment and independently.• Position may require working flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings.• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.• Strong Attention to Detail.• Ability to retain any given instructions.• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.• Hands- on approach with a can-do attitude, team player, professional demeanor, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
