GO College is a federally & locally funded college access program that provides free tutoring, mentoring, field trips (campus and career focused) and academic advising for 6th through 8th graders.Career Readiness Learning Objectives:
- Career and Self-Development - tutor will develop more skills/awareness by working with students who are exploring their own career pathways and life skills.
- Leadership - tutors will lead students through workshop teaching materials, personal advising, and event management.
- Equity and Inclusion - by working with students, tutors will become more aware of the high needs of our students.
- Teamwork - GO College staff works as a team continuously in the office and during events.
- Communication - GO College tutors learn to diversify their communication styles to effectively impact our students.
