Position Summary
Prepare women's ice hockey goalies for game situations through coaching the position during
practice or in individual goalie session.

Major Responsibilities
? Understanding of, and adherence to, the Utica University Athletic Department philosophy.
? When appropriate assist with the recruitment and retention of current and prospective students
giving them an opportunity to perform, and better themselves as athletes and individuals.
? Plan and run goalie practices sessions to ensure students are organized, prepared and have the
ability to safely execute the goalie position.
? Provide leadership to ensure that students have a positive experience.
? When appropriate, assist with monitoring students' academic success, providing/seeking
academic direction when necessary.

Education & Experience Qualifications
? Associate degree or greater preferred.
? 3-5 years coaching experience in the goalie position.
? Must be certified in first aid, CPR and AED .
Minimum Skills/Abilities
? Working knowledge of ice hockey and the skills associated with the goalie position.
? Interpersonal communication skills.
? Ability to work with diversified groups.
