DescriptionThe Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is looking for Golf Course Maintenance Workersfor the Aquatics and Athletic Facilities Division in Prince Georges County.Days/Time and Hours/Time duration: Every day of the week hours will vary according to time of year. 8 hours/4 hours 5:45 to 2:30 /5:30 to 9:30 weekends.Job Description: The Golf Course Maintenance position will change cups, rake sand traps' mow tees, and rough. Weed eat, trash removal help out as needed.All positions start at a salary of $15.00. A higher salary is contingent on a person's education, certification, and work experience.Examples of Important DutiesPerform each individual function according to our standard and course conditions.Minimum QualificationsPreferred candidates will have some experience in working with the public. Knowledge of golf maintenance preferred, but not required. Must be able to deal with the public in a courteous manner. Must be on time and able to work a designated schedule.Supplemental InformationA complete background investigation will be completed prior to hiring.May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.This is a continuous posting.
