We have created an extremely fun, and fast paced environment. We don't work the grueling hours out on the practice range or in the shop that are the usual demands of the industry. Our previous teaching professionals and trainers achieved 30 sessions per week in less than 2 months. OverviewAbout the CompanyFounded by Dr. Jake Berman in 2020, Berman Golf is a golf instruction and fitness training organization with two locations in Florida. Berman Golf teaches and trains golfers who are looking to take their games to the next level. Each client receives their own personalized improvement plan and works exclusively with their own Golf and Fitness Instructor.Position DescriptionThe Golf Instructor will report to the Director of Instruction and will be responsible for coaching private, semi-private, and small group golf instruction sessions. The Golf Instructor will utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology to grow and maintain a clientele base. The Golf Instructor will be self-motivated and will continue to place an emphasis on facilitating relationships with current clients and guests, as well as any future clients. You will have the opportunity to play some of the best courses in the country with the clients for on course instruction. You will be trained and certified in The Berman Method of Golf Performance. This revolutionary technique teaches you how to activate the proper muscles to hit the ball further and more consistently.Experience RequiredIncluding, but not limited to, the following:
  • Class A PGA Member or Associate in Good Standing preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years-experience with golf instruction preferred
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficient with swing instruction technology and training aids
  • TPI Certified preferred but not required
Skills
  • Must be a compelling and self-assured golf instructor with a proven ability to attract and develop clients of all skill levels
  • Moderate to High level of ability to play golf with clients
  • Possess at least a basic understanding of the biomechanics of the golf swing
  • Proven track record of maintaining a detailed client log
  • Team player with a well-regarded reputation for professionalism
Essential ResponsibilitiesYour typical day might include the following:
  • Providing individual golf instruction
  • Work closely with physical therapy staff on programs for each of your students
  • Provide initial assessments to prospective members and clients
  • Plan and conduct golf classes
  • Assist with the planning of member golf trips and tournaments throughout the calendar year
  • Develop great relations with all of your clients and members
