If you answered yes to all the questions above, then you should know the Congressional Country Club is seeking a Golf Performance Center Ambassador. The Ambassador will primarily assist Members/Guests in all Golf Performance Center-related areas and provide a world-class experience for Members and guests of the Club. The Congressional Country Club is looking for Team Members who believe the impossible is possible, are driven to make a positive impact on the Club continuously, and believe that we accomplish high-level service to the Members and their guests as a team. What will be expected of you:
- Assist with the daily operation of the Golf Performance Center and Practice Facility
- Greets the Membership upon entering the Golf Performance Center and Practice Facilities
- Maintains a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Prepare outside practice facilities including, but not limited to driving range, pitching greens, short game areas, and Golf Performance Center
- Set up and close the practice facilities as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all members and guests.
- Assists with Performance Center inventory, merchandising, and restocking of basic items.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Ability to assist with the operation of Trackman, About Golf, and various technologies with training.
- Records all sales transactions and member/guest usage of the facility.
- Operates point of sale (POS) system and Excel files.
- Assists with Performance Center events and online reservations
- Assist members with questions, and follow up on inquiries to enhance Member experience!
- Shadowing golf lessons from professional staff when available
How we determine your qualifications:
- Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent; some colleges preferred.
- Previous customer service retailing experience
- Able to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ability to teach Golf
- Understanding golf technology, launch monitors, simulators, and fitting equipment is a plus.
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Enthusiastically promote the game of golf
- Knowledge of and ability to perform the required roles in emergencies.
