Role :: Google Cloud App Engineer Location :: New York, NY Duration :: Contract (long term) Job Description:: - 5+ years of experience developing software in one of the languages Java, Scala, C++ and/or Go;
- work or academic experience with Source Code Management (e.g. Git, Stash, or Subversion, etc.);
- 5+ years of experience with Web architectures and services ( REST, sockets, JSON, multi-threading, etc.);
- Experience with alerting and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience building production applications at scale (think millions of requests per day);
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Serverless solutions
- Knowledge of Big Query, Bigtable, Pub-Sub, Cloud Dataflow etc.
