GOOGLE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (CHIEF OF STAFF TO CTO)

What experience should you have:

  • 5+ years experience in a strategic role, demonstrating the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable plans.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • A strong orientation towards outcomes, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple work-streams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills– able to synthesize complex details into accessible and precise insights.
  • Qualified candidates must be located in the Bay Area with close proximity to Google HQ.

What you'll be doing in this role:

  • Partner with the Chief Transformation Officer and other senior leaders to define business priorities, execute initiatives, and foster alignment.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with Google, cascading these connections throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute a Google Partner Marketing plan, maximizing marketing funds and opportunities.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations to support effective decision making around business unit strategy, business development priorities, and internal priorities.
  • Own and manage key operational processes including facilitating meetings or onsites and documenting notes and action items to ensure clear communication and follow up.

What you'll need to accomplish in your first year:

  • Establish trust with key Google stakeholders that turn into strategic relationships.
  • Help enhance and mature newly established Google-related processes (communication, funding, governance, etc.).
  • Implement clear standards for submitting marketing plans, funding plans and track processes, such as consumption.
