Job Description:
Seeking a highly organized and communicative Governance Coordinator to join our client, an innovator in the Lifesciences AI space. This is a hybrid role in Tarrytown, NY with 3 days onsite/week.

The Governance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and alignment of AI initiatives across various departments. This role involves collaboration with IT stakeholders, business units, intellectual property (IP) teams, legal counsel, and other key personnel to facilitate efficient communication, track progress, and maintain transparency.

Responsibilities:

  • Status Consolidation: Gather and centralize project/initiative status updates from across the organization, ensuring a comprehensive overview of progress.
  • Dependency Coordination: Identify and track interdependencies between teams and projects, proactively addressing potential bottlenecks or risks.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare clear, concise status reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Communication Facilitation: Foster open communication channels between stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with relevant teams to identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve governance processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, information technology, life sciences).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a coordination or project management role, ideally within the life sciences or technology industries.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with project management tools and reporting software.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication: Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Proven skill in delivering both positive and negative news constructively.
    • Strong organizational skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Interpersonal savvy: Ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
