Position Summary Working under minimal supervision, is responsible for the administration of all company, government, and customer property in the functional element areas including property management, acquisition, receiving, identification, records, movement, storage, physical inventories, report, utilization, maintenance, disposition, and contract closeout in accordance with company policies, procedures, and customer requirements. Duties & Responsibilities •Review all request for proposals (RFP/RFQ) and new contracts to determine property management requirements. •Participate in acquisition of all Government Property. Purchase Order approval authorization. •Responsible for initiating and maintaining property management accountability database for all government and customer programs. •Provide the primary interface and communication with internal and external customer contracts, subcontracting oversight, and property administrators as it's related to property management. •Conduct internal property audits and coordinate annual physical inventories in accordance with company policies, procedures, subcontracting and customer requirements. •Support individual projects and programs with technical support, customer presentations, procedures, plans, schedules and performance measurement reporting. •Other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager. Qualifications REQUIRED: •Associate Degree in Business Administration or NPMA certification of Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA), or Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM). •3-5 years of progressive experience in Government and Customer Property Administration. •Thorough knowledge and understanding of property clauses of FAR 45 and FAR 52. •Knowledgeable in inventory controls and methods. •Thorough knowledge and understanding of logistics functions (receipt, storage, movement, tracking, shipping, and history of hardware). •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. •Understanding of parts inventory management databases. •Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. •The ability to interface with cross-functional groups and operational/program managers at various levels. •Normal office working environment consists of pulling and lifting to 20 lb., standing approximately 30%, repetitive motion on keyboard operation, close visual work with numbers/measurements approximately 80%, and PC work approximately 60%. PREFERRED: •Demonstrates leadership skills in a culture of service, respect, and forward focused improvement in the organization. •Ability to mentor and motivate personnel. •Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred.
