POSITION SUMMARY:If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.The Government Relations & Grants Management Coordinator supports the organization in matters related to federal and state health-related legislation, regulations, and concerns before the U.S. Congress, State Legislature, Governor's office, federal, state and governmental agencies. This position coordinates interactions with and participates in responding to and resolving inquiries from federal and state representatives and governing bodies on matters related to grants management, policies and program operations. Aids in planning and implementing grant programs, preparing budgets, researching funding opportunities, monitoring expenditures, identifying support agencies, tracking results, monitoring compliance, and analyzing financial data.
EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree required. Advanced graduate work to include MBA or MHA preferred.
EXPERIENCE:A minimum of 5 years government relations and grant writing or grant management experience within a healthcare related field required.
