Job DetailsJob LocationNichols College - Dudley, MAPosition TypePart TimeDescriptionPosition Overview: The Graduate Admissions Counselor at Nichols College is a critical member of The Graduate School team, responsible for identifying, recruiting, advising, and enrolling prospective graduate students. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Business Development, the Counselor will guide students through the admissions process and serve as a key contact throughout their academic journey. This role involves a combination of student engagement, application review, data management, and outreach activities to support the school's strategic enrollment goals.Summary of Duties:Identify, recruit, advise, and enroll prospective students, serving as their primary contact while counseling them on the enrollment process and graduate opportunities at Nichols.Coordinate proactive outreach, Initiate and maintain regular communication with prospective students through phone calls, emails, and other outreach methods to build relationships, answer questions, and guide them through the admissions processAccurately maintains data entry in CRM and application portal; including but not limited to inquiry entry, application review, and all other pertinent communications with prospective students.Schedule and conduct recruitment related travel throughout assigned territory, representing the College by attending fairs, visits, and other travel as needed.Create, implement, and manage communications, including but not limited to visits, emails, letters, and brochures.Coordinate additional projects as needed, including the development and management of social media campaigns, to enhance outreach efforts and support overall recruitment and admissions goals.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree or enrollment in a graduate program is preferred.• Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, or related fields is highly desirable.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct compelling presentations to both small and large groups.• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems, preferably Slate.• Ability to travel, including evening and weekend work as required.• Ability to lift, load, and transport admissions materials, displays, and other equipment up to 35 pounds.Working Conditions:• This is a part time, 29 hour-per-week position, with occasional evening and weekend work required for recruitment events.• Travel will be required for off-campus recruitment activities.Application Instructions:Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and the contact information of three professional references.
