Position Summary:

The Grant Manager oversees all aspects of the grant administration process for the CADC Workforce Expansion Program, ensuring compliance with subaward agreements and managing sub awardees. This role requires expertise in Illinois DHS programming grants, familiarity with GATA, and in-depth knowledge of 2 CFR. The Grant Manager will handle budgeting, reporting, and communication while maintaining compliance with all grant, audit and the Illinois Certification Board Accredited Training Program standards and requirements. The position may also manage other possible future grants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage sub awardees, ensuring compliance with subaward agreements and resolving related issues.

- Compile and submit accurate monthly vouchers and rectify sub awardees' monthly expenditures.

- Prepare and manage budgets on the IDHS CSA tracking platform.

- Provide guidance to sub awardees by fielding and resolving their questions.

- Coordinate a public awareness campaign as outlined in the grant.

- Compile and submit all quarterly reports, including the PPR, and manage the annual closeout report.

- Ensure compliance with all audit requirements and maintain documentation for grant compliance.

- Adapt to changing grant requirements and organizational needs.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Master's degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree (required).

- Experience:

- At least 5 years of grant management experience, with a strong background in managing Illinois DHS programming grants.

- Skills:

- Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools.

- Experience working with GATA and 2 CFR requirements.

- Ability to manage budgets and expenditures on IDHS CSA.

- Ability to upload required documents to the CRV.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Additional Requirements:

- Proven ability to compile detailed financial reports and ensure compliance with audits.

- Experience coordinating campaigns and managing complex grant deliverables.

Reporting:

This position reports to the Deputy Director
