Job TitleGrant Revenue Manager

Job DescriptionThe Grant Revenue Manager ensures timely and accurate reporting and recording of grant revenues and receivables for a portfolio of over $350M in revenue from government and private contracts. This is a hybrid position that requires a thorough understanding of grant revenue recognition practices for restricted government and private funders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage monthly recording of all grant revenue and related receivablesSupervise one Grant Revenue Staff AccountantManage all grant-related post-award accounting functions, including invoice tracking, financial reporting, reconciliations, year-end accruals, and grant closeout functionsPrepare accurate and timely financial reports on grant activity for internal management purposes.Coordinate with the Grants and Contracts Unit regularly to assess collectability of receivables for cash flow purposesMaintain and review grants revenue and receivable schedules for all contractsServe as an internal liaison between General Accounting, Grants and Contracts, and Financial Planning and Analysis Units to assist with overall grant compliance and budget to actual analysisSupervise the monthly A/R accrual journal entries and application of payments to the A/R ledgerCollaborate with the internal finance team and external auditors to complete the annual Financial Statement and Federal Single Audit processAssist with individual program audit requests as neededWork with the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Accounting on other projects as neededTeam Development and Supervision

Manage and communicate staff changes following unit and organizational policies, i.e. processing separations, requesting new searches and hires, coordination of leaves and accommodationsAttend management meetings, participate in trainings, and utilize current employment policies, practices and guidance as provided by management and/or Human ResourcesConduct management and supervision practices that affirmatively support equity and inclusion in the workplaceSupervise direct reports in setting performance standards, provide routine feedback, coaching/counseling, and issue disciplinary action as needed.Identify and provide training and development opportunities and ensure mandatory trainings are completed.Identify, delegate, and document work responsibilities, roles, and procedures to meet the mission of the departmentIdentify and implement department/unit management and accountability practices to improve performanceResolve employee conflict, complaints, and address union concerns, with guidance from Human ResourcesLead organizational and culture change for the unit

SALARY TRANSPARENCY

The posting reflects the range of potential salaries for the role. The specific salary offers will be dependent on candidate qualifications, including collectively bargained salary steps for unionized roles.

Salary Range/ Salary:$128,000 – $135,000
