Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Grants Trainee/Grants Coordinator within the Administrative Services group located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. Main responsibilities include researching grant opportunities for the four operating groups at MES, taking the lead to identify and share opportunities, finding partnerships, and coordinating preparation of and writing grant proposals. The Coordinator, upon award, continues to track project progress, ensures compliance with funding requirements, submits required reports, and communicates updates and changes related to the project.
Estimated Pay Range: Grants Trainee: $48,301.85 - $66,414.31 Grants Coordinator: $58,444.70 - $80,361.47

Minimum Requirements: Both positions require a Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in math, communications, accounting, project management, business administration, economics, finance or public administration or other applicable field. Additional requirements include:
- Grants Trainee: one year of applicable experience
- Grants Coordinator: two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in grant-related work.
