This position uses design skills, including a proficient understanding of layout, type, color, and composition needed to create high-impact designs that will enhance the OD brand. This role requires a high level of organization in fast-paced situations with the ability to work effectively on multiple projects concurrently.Primary ResponsibilitiesApply graphic design principles (i.e., layout, imagery, typography, etc.) to communicate themes across a variety of content and communication channels.Produce graphic art and visual materials for advertising and business communications across a variety of content and channels.Take pride of ownership of assigned work in developing advertising layouts, social media elements, digital display ads, posters, logos, PowerPoint templates, etc.Translate internal stakeholder inputs into professional, branded communications as requested by business owners, handling input, feedback and creative revisions with efficiency and professionalism.Maintain and ensure proper adherence and consistency of OD Brand Guidelines across all communications created by OD and agency partners, including advertising agency, public relations, and trade shows.Collaborate with multiple agency creative teams to provide ideas, OD branded assets, hi res files and brand guidance, as needed.Assist in the planning and execution of photo shoots, image selection and retouching with internal team members and outside agencies and contractors.Manage and maintain organized graphic files, including photos, vector art, and logos.Remain abreast of technical advances and new software applications and identify best areas of use within the organization.Job QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in graphic designExperience:4-5 years of professional e xperience in a B2B creative services/communications department of large association, corporation, design studio or advertising agency.Possess a high degree of technical proficiency and ongoing personal development with software programs necessary for the position: Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop) and knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Demonstrated understanding of creative strategy and translation of concepts into workable visual communication creative solutions that accomplish key business goals.Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the development of design projects and multimedia campaigns.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality designs that meet project specifications and requirements.Proven collaboration skills with an ability to work professionally and passionately with a range of functions at a variety of levels, both internal and external to the company.Knowledge of how to properly build and prepare production-ready files for vendors based on provided specs.Ability to maintain high levels of organization in fast-paced situations, with the ability to work effectively on multiple projects concurrently.Working Days:Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Working Shift:AMWork Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
