Job Description:
OVERVIEW: As a Graphic Designer at MarineMax, you will play a key role in creating visually compelling designs that enhance our brand presence across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders and the Marketing team to execute innovative campaigns, develop digital assets, print collateral, and web content, and maintain current marketing materials. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all designs align with brand standards and reflect the luxury, quality, and innovation of MarineMax and its portfolio of boat and yacht brands. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate withe the Marketing Team to develop creative concepts for campaigns, promotions, product launches, boat shows, and events, managing projects from conception to completion withe adherence to quality and deadlines.
  • Design and produce a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, emails, web elements, and social media content, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders, comfortably receive feedback, and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely and final delivery of assets.
  • Ensure consistency across all platforms, supporting sales initiatives, events, and maintaining brand guidelines for logos, colors, and layouts.
  • Prepare files for print and digital vendors, ensuring high quality final output.
  • Proficiently use Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Lightroom, Animate, Firefly) to deliver compelling designs.
  • Write, proofread, and review work to ensure accuracy and quality before final submission.
  • Maintain organized file structures and ensure successful completion of all digital and print deliverables, including presentations, webinars, and event materials, while also managing files in the online asset library.
  • Attend creative team meetings, meet deadlines, and provide ongoing support for all tasks contributing to team succes.

  • Achieve on-time delivery for all design projects, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met.
  • Produce high-quality design work with minimal errors, maintaining attention to detail and brand standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and stakeholders, resulting in favorable feedback on design and final output.
  • Produce and implement original design concepts and campaigns that drive engagement and generate sales-qualified leads while enhancing brand visibility.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, effectively share innovative ideas, and foster open communication to enhance collaboration and contribute to project success.
  • Engage in continuous learning opportunities to improve design skills and stay informed about industry trends.
SKILLS:
  • Advanced knowledge in graphic design, layout, typography, color theory, photo editing, digital and print design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Lightroom, Animate, Firefly).
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, art or design or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand, or advertising agency.
  • Ability to develop original design concepts and generate fresh ideas for digital and print materials.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, proofing and reviewing work for accuracy in design and copy.
  • Comfortable presenting designs, receiving feedback, and adjusting work as needed.
  • Familiar with preparing files for print and digital vendors and managing assets in online libraries.
  • Proficient in Mac OS, Windows PC, MS Office, and using project management platforms. Boating experience, a plus
