**Overview**

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Reston, VA office! This is not a remote position.

**Responsibilities**

+ Our Graphic Designers work independently, partnering with other Designers and Marketing professionals to understand and translate the client's vision and design a variety of deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

+ Develop graphic covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for marketing pursuits

+ Create presentations, aerial map exhibits, and multimedia graphics

+ Create tailored, print and digital brochures as well as conference/event graphics

+ Design digital campaigns for external recognition/pursuits

+ Thrive as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team

+ Partner with engineers, project managers, and technical staff

+ Serve as a brand advocate for Kimley-Horn and the client's visual guidelines

**Qualifications**

+ 3+ years of corporate and/or agency experience

+ Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or similar

+ Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company)

+ Ability to use InDesign software for layout of complex documents

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ A positive, collaborative, solution-seeking attitude, and a high sense of personal responsibility

+ Desire to learn new skills, manage tasks and teams, participate in process improvement

+ Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours as needed

+ Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle simultaneous, varied assignments while providing consistent quality and accuracy

+ Willingness to travel in support of remote projects and teams
