Graphic Designer / Apparel Designer
Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer/Apparel Designer who is interested in the great outdoors to join our creative team. In this role, you will help create digital and print marketing materials for numerous platforms and different types of apparel. Candidates should be familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design applications. Candidates should be able to produce high quality materials while adhering to deadlines. Please submit a portfolio of your past work when applying to this job.
Key Functions and Duties
• Develop creative assets for various marketing projects, including but not limited to website graphics, social media ads, email blasts, in-store signage, and product packaging
• Create Illustrations and graphics for apparel
• Design apparel and create tech packs for production
• Take direction from Creative Director
• Take in constructive criticism and produce quality work
• Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects
• Organize and manage creative assets Skills and Qualifications
• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Industrial Design or related field
• Experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role (new graduates in visual arts are encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong aesthetic and design skills - color theory, typography, layout design
• Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Outstanding portfolio that conveys caliber of work
*** Please note that this position will serve several roles. There will be times when apparel design is needed and other times when there is a need for packaging design or a print ad design. It is paramount that the candidate is well organized and extremely detail oriented. Further, ideally, the candidate should be familiar with the outdoors lifestyle (fishing, hunting, camping, etc.) and have experience/knowledge with outdoor brands. This role will be faced-paced and can shift from project-to-project daily.
