Job Description:

Hudson Regional Hospital is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Strategist to join the marketing team. As the Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute innovative social media posts and video to increase brand awareness, engagement and sentiment across various social platforms
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to edit and proofread
  • Create captivating visual content, including graphics, images and videos to be used across all social channels
  • Record and edit video content, ranging from short-form clips to long-form video optimized for each platform
  • Stay up to date of trends, tools and technologies to ensure our social initiatives remain relevant
  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns
  • Monitor and assess social media metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of posts and engagement
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with local influencers and partners to amplify our brand message
  • Create internal newsletter covering a variety of topics such as hospital updates, awards, news, etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing Director on any initiatives to help drive hospital awareness/campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field
  • Proven experience as a social media strategist or similar role with strong examples showcasing creative design / video editing skills
  • Proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and/or Illustrator), Canva, CapCut to name a few
  • Knowledge on social media platforms and their respective best practices (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Linkedin)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling content tailored to different platforms
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in teams and be nimble in a fast-paced environment
  • Should have strong digital marketing background
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and potential travel
