Job DetailsJob Location YMCA of Frederick County - Frederick, MD Position Type Full Time Salary Range $20.00 - $22.00 Description Deadline to apply: December 1, 2024 POSITION SUMMARY: The Graphics Assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing team in the development and implementation of visual design and marketing strategies that promote the organization's programs, events, and initiatives. This role will work with the marketing team to create compelling visual content, maintain brand consistency, and enhance the organization's public image. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously. - Strong graphic design and visual communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Design and Content Creation:
- Develop and design creative materials, including brochures, social media graphics, web content, flyers, posters, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
- Design Program Guide using submitted program information, including marketing material promoting the program guide.
- Ensure all visual content aligns with the organization's branding guidelines and YMCA's values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms (digital, print, social media).
Digital Marketing:
- Assist in creating digital ads for various marketing campaigns
- Working with IT, ensure all digital TV platforms across association are working and have artwork to promote programs/events
Collaboration and Project Management:
- As needed, collaborate with the marketing department and program teams to ensure marketing goals are met.
- Manage design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all design and marketing materials.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in all marketing communications and materials by adhering to the organization's brand guidelines.
- Maintain awareness of current design trends and integrate new techniques into marketing strategies.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, design, or related role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Basic understanding of the value of a brand and ability to follow brand guidelines.
