Apply today and embark on a rewarding journey with us!Job Description:As a Greenskeeper at The Virginian Golf Club, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our 21-hole golf course. With a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will ensure that the course remains in excellent shape, providing an exceptional playing experience for our members and guests. This is a full-time position that requires dedication and a strong work ethic.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and care for the golf course greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, and surrounding areas.- Mow, trim, and edge lawns, greens, and fairways.- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals as needed, adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.- Perform irrigation system maintenance and repairs.- Operate and maintain golf course equipment and machinery.- Assist with landscaping and general grounds maintenance tasks.- Monitor and report any course issues, such as pests, diseases, or irrigation problems.- Collaborate with the golf course superintendent and other team members to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards.- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, following all safety protocols and procedures.Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field.- Knowledge of turf management practices, including mowing, fertilizing, and pest control.- Experience operating and maintaining golf course equipment and machinery.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Full-Time Benefits:- Comprehensive insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision.- Generous paid time off (PTO) allowance.- 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.- Employee discount on golf merchandise and dining.- Complimentary lunches during shifts.Join us at The Virginian Golf Club, where your expertise and dedication will contribute to an outstanding golf experience for our members.
