Summary:Reporting to the Group Sales Manager- Front End/Receiving, the Greeter is responsible for providing superior customer service through greeting and acknowledging all customers in a friendly and professional manner and providing information on in store promotions.Responsibilities:Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.Act as a brand ambassador for Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's to all customers entering the store.Inform customers of in store promotions and events as they enter the store.Distribute flyers and promotional materials to customers entering the store.Direct customers to the appropriate department(s).Walk the main aisles of the store to greet customers.Ensure any firearms being brought into the store are properly checked by an Outfitter with a valid P.A.L and arrange for customer to be escorted to the Gun department.Merchandise and maintain visual presentation of products and displays in the front area.Maintain cleanliness of the store entrance area.Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.Qualifications:Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer's expectations.Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to stand for prolonged periods.Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's specific products is an asset.Benefits:Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, our restaurants, world-class resorts and conservation attractions!Fun work environment.Competitive wages.Excellent benefits.Unlimited career advancement opportunities.Bass Pro Cares Fund.#J-18808-Ljbffr
