Description: Provide professional and exemplary customer service to all guests in adherence with Wollman Rink policies, rules and regulations to ensure a safe and world class environment. Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Responsible for greeting guests properly in various locations of the facility, directing them to desired locations, and ensuring proper crowd flow · Check in clients for skating lessons · Relay messages to coaches and back-office staff · Provide World-Class service to all guests, vendors, and employees at all times · Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all team members · Anticipate and respond professionally to guests' needs, concerns and questions · Learn all Wollman Rink policies, procedures, locations, and event specific information provided · Provide guests with friendly, accurate directions · Monitor assigned areas to identify issues, report and notify appropriate personnel, and ensure compliance with facilities policies, cleanliness, and safety · Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including uniform and appearance guidelines · Work well with others, assist teammates, and perform and complete a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure within Guest Services guidelines · As necessary, handle tough, high-pressure situations while remaining calm and professional · Assist skaters in preparing for their lessons, including tying skates, helping with hockey equipment (training will be provided) · Complete other duties as assigned by managers · May work in cooler or warmer temperatures; indoors or outside, and involve standing for 6-8 hours Educational Background Required · Previous hospitality experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Exemplary customer service skills · Ability to stay calm under pressure · Outgoing and positive; you seek solutions vs focusing on problems · Ability to actively engage with guests Note: This job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
