Provide professional and exemplary customer service to all guests in adherence with Wollman Rink policies, rules and regulations to ensure a safe and world class environment.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for greeting guests properly in various locations of the facility, directing them to desired locations, and ensuring proper crowd flow
Check in clients for skating lessons
Relay messages to coaches and back-office staff
Provide World-Class service to all guests, vendors, and employees at all times
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all team members
Anticipate and respond professionally to guests' needs, concerns and questions
Learn all Wollman Rink policies, procedures, locations, and event specific information provided
Provide guests with friendly, accurate directions
Monitor assigned areas to identify issues, report and notify appropriate personnel, and ensure compliance with facilities policies, cleanliness, and safety
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including uniform and appearance guidelines
Work well with others, assist teammates, and perform and complete a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure within Guest Services guidelines
As necessary, handle tough, high-pressure situations while remaining calm and professional
Assist skaters in preparing for their lessons, including tying skates, helping with hockey equipment (training will be provided)
Complete other duties as assigned by managers
May work in cooler or warmer temperatures; indoors or outside, and involve standing for 6-8 hours
Educational Background Required
Previous hospitality experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exemplary customer service skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Outgoing and positive; you seek solutions vs focusing on problems
Ability to actively engage with guests

Working Environment
This position generally requires that work be performed from Wollman Rink offices. This position requires frequent outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions due to the nature of the business. Availability to work evening, weekends, and holidays.
