Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our team at Selrico Services Inc. Caf in North Charleston, South Carolina. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. As a Grill Cook, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu items, while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. SECURE FACILITY: NO PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED ON BASE - LANDLINE AVAILABLE, IF NEEDED.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position is $18 per hour and paid weekly. Selrico Services Inc. also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items in a timely and efficient manner, following all recipes and quality standards- Operate and maintain all grill equipment, ensuring it is properly cleaned and sanitized- Monitor food inventory and notify management of any shortages or ordering needs- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a safe and clean work environment- Interact with customers and take orders, providing friendly and efficient service- Communicate any customer concerns or feedback to management- Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service- Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulationsRequirements:- R.E.A.L. ID: REAL ID | Homeland Security (dhs.gov)- Food Handler Certificate- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Grill Cook in a fast-paced restaurant setting- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Team player with a positive attitude- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds- Must be able to pass Military background checkEEOC Statement:Selrico Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
