Grill Cook - Texas Steakhouse & Saloon Location: Lumberton, NC, 28358 Job Description The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items on the grill in accordance with Texas Steakhouse & Saloon's recipes and standards. The Grill Cook must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items on the grill according to Texas Steakhouse & Saloon's recipes and standards
- Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and are of high quality
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with food prep and other kitchen duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and management
Requirements
- Prior experience as a grill cook or similar position
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
