Job Position: Grinders Job Location: Brewton, AL Position Type: Full Time Foundry workers typically work 40 hours per week, but they may work overtime during busy periods. Job Duties: Must be able to hold and maintain grinding tools over an extended period of time. Inspect castings for shift and other defects. Must be precise and focused to prevent over grinding of castings. Provide quality control by inspecting work pieces as they come out of the foundry to the grinding department. Operates cranes and forklifts to move raw materials within the foundry and finished products out of the foundry. Keep all equipment running by inspecting and performing basic maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning, and scheduling repairs when needed. Job Requirements: Education: high school diploma or GED certificate. 2-5 years' experience as a grinder or similar job. Able to stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds.
