Simply put, our team members enjoy working toward the common goal of success, and we enjoy supporting their efforts.Ground Support Mechanic (Inspector)Duties/Responsibilities:This position is responsible for all repairs and preventative maintenance, including initial and final inspections of Tactical Equipment.The Heavy Tactical Vehicle Mechanic diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Heavy Tactical Vehicles, and advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repair of less complex repair/maintenance problems.This mechanic prepares for storage and mobility deployment; operates, cleans, inspects, and services towing vehicles; and maintains and updates paper and electronic equipment records, providing dispatch service for Heavy Tactical Equipment.Conduct thorough inspections of wheeled vehicles, including engines, transmissions, power train components, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components.Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition.Inspect, adjust, and test parts and systems to ensure functionality.Handle maintenance-related administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.Plan work area layout for efficiency and safety.Conduct on-the-job training.Minimum Qualifications:Must have the ability to climb up the back of Heavy Tactical Equipment.Extremely knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures on Heavy/Wheel Tactical Equipment.Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.The ability to pass Post-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening is required.Must have an active and valid Driver's License.Education and Experience:Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma / GED.4+ years' experience maintaining Heavy/Wheel Tactical Equipment.Job Type: Full-time, Non-ExemptWork Location: Fort Liberty, NCBenefits:401(k)Employee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSolution One Industries is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
