Recreation & Wellbeing (Rec Well) is ready to hire a self-motivated Grounds & Facility Technician with a passion for working in outdoors grounds maintenance with a variety of tasks in different settings and a wide range of possibilities. We are looking for a mechanically inclined team member and offer on-the-job training for those willing to learn and expand their skill set. Working at Rec Well facilities provides a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. Qualifications:

Grounds & Facility Technician I Qualifications:

* 0-3 years of relevant work experience

* Assists with routine inspections and monitors cleanliness and condition of facilities, grounds, outdoor sports areas, sports equipment and related maintenance equipment.

* Utilizes equipment to repair and maintain standard machinery, equipment, and facility property to prevent further damage and ensure optimal operation.

* Escalates and documents issues according to established policies and procedures.

* Assist with distribution of deliveries to appropriate entities under general supervision.

* Assists staff with facility and grounds construction and operational maintenance as needed.

* Perform basic and routine computer related tasks daily.

* Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

* Ability to perform lifting regularly up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Grounds & Facility Technician II Qualifications:

* 3+ years of relative experience

* Independently performs routine inspections, monitor cleanliness and condition of facilities, grounds, outdoor sports areas, sports equipment and related maintenance equipment.

* Independently utilizes equipment to repair and maintain standard machinery, equipment, and facility property to prevent further damage and ensure optimal operation.

* Independently troubleshoots, escalates, and documents issues according to established policies and procedures.

* Independently receives, inspects, inventories, and distributes deliveries to appropriate entities.

* Assists trades, crafts, vendors, and technical staff with construction, design, and operational maintenance as needed.

* Independently performs basic and routine computer related tasks daily.

* Properly trouble shoot equipment and facility issues without oversite.

* Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

* Ability to perform lifting regularly up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Work Schedule:

Normal schedule is 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. On an occasional basis, exercise flexibility to work evening or weekend hours.

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

The starting salary for the Grounds & Facility Technician I position is $21.00 per hour but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

The starting salary for the Grounds & Facility Technician II position is $22.00 per hour but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
