Grounds Keeper/ Maintenance To Whom Responsible: Director of Facilities For Whom/ What Responsible: All buildings and grounds of the district. Qualifications: Degree - H. S. graduate or equivalent desirable, but not required. Preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years in maintaining physical facilities and/or grounds; demonstrated knowledge of the basic principles of construction, maintenance, and security. Primary Responsibility: To maintain all district buildings and grounds in excellent condition for full educational use at all times. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assumes responsibility for the comprehensive maintenance and repair requirements of the physical facilities and grounds of the district. Inspects all school buildings, grounds and installations on a regular basis to determine that comfort, health, and safety are maintained. Reviews on a regular basis all security precautions and procedures and recommends additions, changes or reduction in service as appropriate.
