Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all mowing, edging, pruning, and fertilizing of the park grounds.
- Responsible for maintaining weeding and mulching of all landscapes.
- Carry out the removal and trimming of trees, bushes, and shrubs
- Coordinate and complete the planting of bushes, flowers, and trees.
- Ensure that all trees, flowers, and gardens receive the proper watering.
- Monitor and maintain plant health throughout the park.
- Maintain and replace irrigation as needed.
- Remove snow, ice, and leaves as needed from the park's grounds.
- Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible, and organized.
- Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
- Assist the maintenance team with other tasks and duties as needed.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all outdoor areas, including pathways, seating areas, and attractions.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 2 years of verifiable experience in landscaping.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles and equipment such as operating machinery, mowers, leaf blowers, etc.
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines and precautions.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with all guests, co-workers, and management.
- Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently, and have a positive attitude.
- Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park's drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
- Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the operational needs of the theme park.

- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.

- Tolerance of Temperature Fluctuations
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout the entire work shift and climbing/ascending heights, as needed.
- Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and chemicals.
