Job Type Full-timeDescriptionRed Tail Golf Club in Devens is hiring for the position of Grounds Staff for the remainder of the 2024 golf season. The Seasonal Grounds Staff, under supervision of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent will perform grounds maintenance work involving the use of small power equipment, including hand mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hover mowers, and other specialized mowing/maintenance equipment.Employee Responsibilities
- Routine mowing of all playing surfaces (greens, tees, fairways)
- Wash, inspect, and refill fuel of any equipment used daily, and report equipment problems or failures to superintendent or assistant superintendent immediately.
- Routine bunker maintenance such as daily raking, and weekly string trimming, rotary mowing, weeding and edging.
- Use of all safety equipment needed for the job.
- Maintenance of clubhouse and surrounding grounds
- Regular cleaning of golf maintenance facility.
- Removing refuse and trash from grounds.
- Filling and cleaning divots on playing surfaces.
- Other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.

Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and can arrive on time every day.
- Obey rules outlined in Employee Handbook and other legal documentation.
Experience preferred but not necessary, will train qualified applicants.Salary Description $20/hour
