The Winchendon Housing Authority is accepting resumes for one (1) Full-time 40 hrs./week Groundskeeper/ Custodial Position. Any person applying must be a self-motivator with the ability to work with/around all age groups. This position requires a highly diversified person with knowledge of but not limited to building construction, facility maintenance, and exterior/interior painting. Minimum landscaping skills must be lawn planting and care, shrub planting and trimming, tree pruning and snow removal with both truck or tractor powered equipment and hand powered tools. Good understanding of maintenance and cleaning of different types of flooring systems. This position requires an Active Massachusetts Drivers License with no more than a step 10 driving record. This person must be able to lift and move appliances or other items over 75 lbs. repeatedly over a long duration. The Groundskeeper/Custodial position could be on call for afterhours/weekend emergencies as required/requested. The finalist must be able to pass a CORI/SORI review and Physical Fitness/Complete Drug Screening exam before hire. Pay will be set in conformance with State DL&I wage after a 6-month probationary period.
