About the Role The Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring exceptional curb appeal by keeping the grounds and building properly maintained. Position Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to operating and maintaining ride-on equipment to cleans a properly maintain drives streets contiguous to the property, parking facilities, roof tops and thoroughfares
- Performs casual labor or emergency functions at the employer's direction
- Ensures safe operation and storage of equipment required for the job
- Responds promptly and courteously to guest and employee request ensuring proper follow up
- Promptly reports any maintenance problems with equipment, property or guest needs to a supervisor
- Empty grease recovery units
- Landscaping all outside grounds
- Responsible for cleaning biohazardous waste
Essential Functions
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to work outdoors on a continuous basis
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible shifts/hours
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
- Physically capable of using the required equipment and/or tools specific to position
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment
- Must demonstrate good customer service skills
- Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean record
