The Groundskeeper will beresponsible for general grounds and maintenance work that includes but is notlimited to: grass cutting, landscaping, weeding, and pest control and eventset-ups. This role will have interaction with residents, guests and teammembers of Menno Haven. As a Groundskeeper, you will gain general knowledge andexperience in grounds keeping along with familiarity of regulations pertainingto the use of herbicides and pesticides. Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, helpful but not required
- Knowledge of pesticides and herbicides, helpful but not required
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, helpful but not required
- Positive attitude and good customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be available to assist with snow removal
