We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us!Part of a nation wide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Covenant Living is seeking a Groundskeeper. This position provides landscape and maintenance services needed in keeping grounds and buildings on campus attractive and well kept.
In this role, the Groundskeeper, will:- Mow and/or renovate lawns.
- Transport grass clippings and other garden materials to appropriate area.
- Edge sidewalks and driveways.
- Weed-eat where necessary.
- Weed and cultivate flower beds.
- Thin and prune trees, shrubs, vines, flowers, etc.
- Operate time clocks for sprinkler systems.
- Repair or install new sprinkler systems.
- Make periodic rounds to pick up trash and other debris.
- Help with planting, fertilizing, spraying, and maintenance of all lawns and flower beds.
- Water and maintain all lawn areas and flower beds.
The successful candidate will have:- High School diploma or the equivalent, required.
- Classes in horticulture including small plant identification, horticulture machinery and landscape design, required.
- Three years gardening related experience, required
- Valid drivers' license in the State and good driving record.
