You will need to be

  • A game-changer: we need someone who combines acute financial acumen to drive our financial strategy to new heights, combined with laser sharp commercial & strategic insights to ensure we drive performance across the business to generate industry leading profitability.

  • Self-starter: you will have a proven track record of working well autonomously in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments. The ability to define a way forward, execute and anticipate the challenges along the way is essential. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional drive.
  • Influencer: be comfortable at driving your agenda across multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and counties. Be prepared to have, and be skilled at, having tough conversations.

We need a leader who will drive the finances of the business ensuring we have the right treasury management partners and financing structures in place to support our strategic growth. A key partner for the CEO & Stoli Leadership Team in maximising value creation & driving our M&A agenda. You will provide leadership and development for the talented professionals in the finance function. Managing risks associated with cash, capital, resource deployment, accounting compliance, and strategy remains core to the role.

Responsibilities, Capabilities and Experience

  • Lead & implement the finance strategy for the Group ensuring cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting are embedded across the Group.
  • Coordinate development & implementation of a 3-year strategic plan & annual operating plan.
  • Implement Business Performance Management across the Group to optimise value creation and implement systems to drive greater efficiency.
  • Drive world class tax & treasury activities creating value directly for the Group & manage risks faced by the business by remaining ahead of trends and changing legislation.
  • The role will be required to lead and empower a broad set of professionals of an in-house finance team, also being responsible for defining and delivering on developmental pathways for members of the finance function.

Qualifications and experience

  • 15+ years of relevant experience and a recognised finance/accounting qualification
  • An inspiring leader exceptional communicator & influencer
  • Direct experience in raising capital with banks and outside traditional lines of credit
  • Comfort with dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment
  • Deep personal accountability for great performance
  • Experience working across multiple countries/geographies
  • Knowledge of Russian language is a plus
