Job Type Part-time Description Are you passionate about fitness? Do you want to help others achieve their fitness goals? The YMCA of Broome County is seeking experienced and enthusiastic land and water group exercise instructors to join our team! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about fitness and enjoy working in a group setting to motivate and inspire our members. As a group exercise instructor, you will lead a variety of classes that promote overall health and wellness. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all of our members and staff. Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead group exercise classes that are safe, challenging, and engaging
• Provide modifications and progressions for participants of all skill levels
• Create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters community and encourages participation
• Set up and clean up equipment as needed
• Attend required trainings and meetings

Schedule:

• Part-time
• Classes run 45 minutes to 75 minutes
• Varied times per day

Salary: $15.50-$18.50 per hour Benefits:

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire participants
• Knowledge of proper form and technique for various exercises
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing class needs
