Group Facilitator

First Shift (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
$21.00-$26.00/Hour
Team Recovery Ohio, LLC, the fastest growing organization providing treatment for substance use and mental health disorders in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a Full-Time Group Facilitator! Qualified applicants must be motivated, compassionate and energetic, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve potential issues.
Position Summary:The Group Facilitator will work alongside the clinical team to ensure we are facilitating effective groups to our clients with Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Diagnoses.Job Functions/Duties:The essential job functions/duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitating treatment groups.
- Completing clear, accurate, and timely documentation of all services (group sessions and individual session).
- Advocating on the behalf of the client.
- Empowering clients to make healthy choices.
- Providing support and guidance through the recovery process.
- Education and guidance in the 8 dimensions of wellness.
- Providing client transportation as needed.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive care plan as well as assisting in development of treatment plan goals.
- Correspondence with representatives from the criminal justice systems to ensure compliance with legal proceedings.
- Driving company vehicle(s), including multi-passenger vans to transport clients to and from the treatment center and other locations deemed necessary for treatment activities.
- Other duties relating to group facilitation and clinical services, including administrative and operational duties.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience in coordinating care with clients who have behavioral health and substance use disorders, including knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatments and 12 Step Programs.
- Must possess the ability to educate clients, staff, and the community on health issues and promoting overall wellness.
- Must possess conflict management and crisis intervention experience and skills, as well as possess the ability to effectively apply problem-solving skills while providing real time solutions.
- Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and communicate challenges effectively.
- Must possess the ability to work in a complex, detail-oriented, fast-paced organization.
- Must possess interpersonal and decision making skills and be able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, as well as possess leadership skills .
- Must possess the ability to network and collaborate with healthcare and other social and cultural agencies that can provide services to the clients and families.
- Must possess a compassionate, relationship-based, and trauma-informed approach to treatment.
- Must possess high ethical standards, and the ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material and situations.
- Knowledge and experience in clinical documentation within an EHR system.
- Knowledge of Gmail, Google Chat, Google Tasks, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and insurance with clean driving record (required).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment is preferred (not required).
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- CPR/First Aid, AED, BLS, or ALS Certifications are preferred (not required).
- CDCA, QHMS III Certifications (required).
