In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our Clinical Team and providing education and supervision to clients in a safe, therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present educational materials to clients in an approved format.
  • Facilitate group discussions, fostering a safe, supportive, respectful, and culturally sensitive learning environment.
  • Evaluate and communicate client participation, attendance, and progress to the team.
  • Document client interactions, interventions, responses, and service details accurately and promptly in the EHR system.
  • Report any situations that may indicate an immediate threat to the well-being of clients or staff to supervisors promptly.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate educational groups for adults.
  • Promote positive morale through a supportive attitude toward clients and peers.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR
  • High School or General Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of responsible employment history
  • Employees may be required to apply for Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor (MAADC) credential
Additional Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of background check, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation and Relias Learning training
  • Maintain required certifications, licenses, and confidentiality standards
  • Class E Driver's License and current CPR/First Aid certification may be required
  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally for sedentary work
