GROUP FITNESS SPECIALIST Berkeley Hall Club is seeking a Group Fitness Specialist on a contract-basis to perform the Scope of Services listed below.   • Provide Group Fitness classes and services to our members throughout the Fitness Center.
  • Utilize industry knowledge, expertise, and education to create, develop and consistently update group fitness services and class offerings.
  • Provide members and guests with timely and efficient service(s).
  • Continually inspect fitness floor, studios and rooms for organization and cleanliness.
  • Prepare group fitness studio as necessary before class and remove/organize studio after class.
  • Perform other services as requested by Director of Wellness.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Health Sciences, Exercise Science or related field is a plus.
  • Exceptional fitness and group class programming acumen and good customer service skills.
  • Experience working in an upscale fitness center, spa, country club, or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Certification/License:
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR/AED
  • Current Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification
  • Current Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification
Pay: Flat rate structure on group fitness classes Schedule: Flexible with hours ranging from 7am to 5pm
